he wanted to take me for a walk

not a walk on a path through a park after dark but rather

a walk on clouds

he wanted us to travel to the top.

he wanted to take me high into the sky

so that when we reached the top he could push me off

he wanted me to fall

i told'em that id go on his walk

dared'em to push me off

told'em that id naver fall

not for him

sure i was smart but so was he

way before i knew it he had plans for me

he wanted to take me for a walk

he took my hand i followed him

cloud one

was nothing like i thought

wasn't the least bit foggy

in fact

every step we took was real clear

"no fear?" he looked at me with a boyish grin

"nah im coo'" i replied eyes open wide

before i knew it

we were walking on

cloud four

it was nothing that i've ever seen before

semi blinded by the bright white light

partially high from the elevation of altitude

somewhat in the state of confusion

but too in tune with this feeling of bliss tooooo

pay any attention to it

somewhere along our walk on clouds i got lost

i had to step outside to find myself walking along

cloud nine

he was lagging behind

"still no fears?" his boyish grin was laced with sin

confused oblivious i just stood there

"good" he smiled and pushed me off

cloud nine

outside myself

helplessly i watched me fall through the clouds

cloud after cloud after cloud

i fell

i fell for him

for it was he who pushed me

into this ridiculous state of love that im in
